Having coffee with my friends, preferably outdoor. There are a lot of cool coffee places in Amsterdam. I also go to a juice bar (the Tarwegraskoning is my favorite) for a shot of wheatgrass and fresh juice, to get some vitamins – especially after a long flight.
和朋友出去喝一杯咖啡，最好能坐在户外。阿姆斯特丹有很多很酷的咖啡厅。我也会到果汁吧去喝一杯小麦草和果汁以补充身体需要的维生素，特别是一段长途飞机之后。我最喜欢的果汁吧是 Tarwegraskoning。
2. 除了自己家以外，你会住哪？Which hotel/hostel would you recommend?
If you have no budget restrictions: The Amstel Hotel or The Dylan Hotel. The College Hotel– a former college, is located in the popular area. De Pijp is also a really nice neighborhood.
如果你没有预算上的限制，那我建议 The Amstel Hotel 或 The Dylan Hotel。我也推荐由学校改建成的 The College Hotel，这酒店位于黄金地带。De Pijp 是另一个拥有很好的环境的地区。
3. 你常和朋友见面的地方在哪？Where would you meet your friends for a drink?
In the summer, Roest is a nice place. It is a bar, self-service restaurant and club all in one. It’s at the waterfront, with a man-made beach. It’s a funky place, nice to lie in a hammock during the day, or dance in the evening.
如果是夏天的话，那 Roest 是一个很不错的去处。这是一家酒吧、餐厅，也是一家夜店。Roest 就位于河边，有一个人造沙滩，是一个时髦的地方。白天你可以躺在吊床上，晚上可以尽情跳舞。
4. 吃午餐最棒的地方在哪？Where’s the best place for lunch?
In the area De Pijp you will find a lot of restaurants, bars and lunch places. Cool lunch places there are De Vredespijp (lunch place and art deco shop in one) or Hutspot (a concept store and lunch/coffee place in one).
在 De Pijp 区内，你可以找到很多餐厅、酒吧和可以吃午餐的地方。De Vredespijp 是个很酷的地方，结合了餐厅和装饰艺术。或是 Hutspot，一家提供午餐和咖啡的概念店。
5. 晚餐呢? And for dinner?
My favorite restaurant is Mata Hari, in the red light district. It is a cozy living room restaurant, with great food, even better desserts, and a very good price. It has a bar as well, so after dinner you can stay for drinks.
我最喜欢的餐厅是位于红灯区里的 Mata Hari。此家居式的餐厅环境舒适，食物好吃，甜点更棒，价格也公道。餐厅也有一个酒吧，晚餐后可以留下来喝酒。
6. 如有朋友到访，你会带他们去哪玩？ Where would you send a first-time visitor?
It is a bit touristy, but I still love it: De Noordermarkt, on Monday morning. It is a market with (2nd hand) clothes, antiques, and it is a lot of fun. Around the market there are some nice bars and coffee places. Very famous is Winkel – you will see people lining up for their freshly baked apple pie.

7. 有鲜为人知的秘境吗？Any best-kept secret?
Westerpark has a lot to offer. First of all it is a big park – much nicer and less crowded than the Vondelpark. But it’s also a creative breeding ground. With nice coffee places, a cinema, jazz bar, theatre, and a club. Most Sundays there are nice food markets. There’s always something happening.
Westerpark 是一个精彩的地方。首先，这是一个很大的公园，和 Vondelpark 相比之下，来得很美更静谧。这里也是创意的温床，内有不少咖啡厅、戏院、爵士酒吧、剧场和夜店。每周日，这里有一个很棒的美食市场。此公园可说是精彩不断。

Walking in bicycle lanes! Ve-ry dangerous, more so in the fall and the winter (unless you like snow or rain). And the coffeeshops – if you want to experience anything “more“ in Amsterdam that is.
走在脚车道里！很危险的，特别是在秋天和冬天里（除非你喜欢雪和下雨）。还有，就是 “咖啡厅” ，除非你想在阿姆斯特丹尝试吸大麻。
9. 离开阿姆斯特丹前，一定要。。。Before leaving Amsterdam, one must…
Board a boat, cruise through the canals. And do try some “stroopwafels” – cookies with caramel syrup, gotta love them!
游船河，穿梭于阿姆斯特丹的运河。还有，非要来点 “stroopwafels” — 夹了糖浆的饼干，你一定会爱上的！
